There has been a few articles on en-pessant lately, and this is a recent win of mine via en-pessant playing as Black in a game that took 59 moves!  I made alot of mistakes...  This is not gloating and I am not naming the opponant, it is simply to show why the en-pessant rule shouldn't be forgotten - and because it's the only game I've ever won this way.

Appologies for making people go through 59 moves...Tongue out

en-pessant is important but easy to forget. A good example of its importance.

I did not understand your choice of openings.  Why lose a tempo with e5?  After 2. d3, Black should challenge the center with d5.  After giving White a tempo, you played well.

KillaBeez, this is a standard defence called the French, and 1. e4 e6 2. d4 is followed up with d5.

I know that this is the French Defense.  He played the King's Indian French and I was merely naming the opening and saying what the main line was.  I was not criticizing e6.  I just did not understand e5.

The game was not won with the en passant. When you opponent gave up his queen with 34. Qe3??, then game was already decided. You would probably have won anyway when he allowed the en passant.

I liked the game, although most of it was moving the pieces back and forth. It is also not advisable to spell en passant wrong.

He had a won endgame. However, since his opponent clearly forgot the rule, he was able to force a quick mate.

It is not advisable to make a big deal out of a spelling error and seem like a self-righteous punk.

Not only do you seem like a punk, but you have incorrect spelling in your post as well.

Where? And your punctuation is incorrect.
