I have never had nice chess pieces. I have a wood board a friend built 20 yrs. ago. Where would you suggest ordering chess pieces?

It depends how much you're willing to spend. The top quality (and so, expensive) pieces are probably those from House Of Staunton-

I wouldn't recommend the Woolly Mammoth Ivory pieces- probably a bit out of all of our price ranges!
