In situations similar to this one, yes. In this situation, no. Nxd5 looks much better.

No, I would take the rook first with the knight, winning a whole rook for nothing.

Or do you mean in general, would I trade a queen for two rooks? It depends on the situation. I did it in a game posted here because I could see that I would win after the trade. But it's completely different in different situations.

well there are something you should notice, usualy   2 rocks for a queen its a good trade when your giving up the queen, but here the way i would analise this situation if it where one of my games.

  1. The knight its an active pice that i should keep.
  2. Taking the black knight for free and moving away my own from danger.
  3. The black king its some what exposed.
  4. due reason 3 i should look a way to atack it.
  5. due reason 4 i should get my best atacking pice (aka: queen) near to that king asap.

After this i would play 1.-N6xd5 and look for a way to move my queen near to that lone black king and try to mate it.

P.S: i only comenting cose i look at your games and you dont have this position on going.

Two Rooks are better than a Queen because a Queen is worth 9, one rook is worth 5 so two of them that makes ten yeah swappinga Queen for two rooks is profitable by one. But that would probablynot happen here, ardley ever as a matter a fact.
