I can't figure it out. Its between two masters and its in a legit database. WTF is going on in this game? Are there some crazy tactics I'm missing? 'Cause I think this is a joke.

There's no way that game can be right. Whie's Qf3 is just ridiculous - black can take the queen with his knight and there is no possible counterplay or compensating idea that I can see. It's either a joke or else it has been wrongly typed in.

Maybe they were just really bad at playing blindfold chess...

Typed in wrong, I think.  Try the line with 5.f3 instead.

Also trying 5.f3 i can't figure out 9...;Nd4 10.d3?? leaving the queen.

And after 10...;Nc6 white couldn't play 11.Qf3 because of the supposed pawn f3.

Very strange moves.

5. Qf3?? and the Queen is en prise until move 8, where Black play Nxe2

10. d3?? again leaving Queen en prise, followed by 10... Nc6??

19... c4?? leaving Rook en prise until move 23 (!)

21... Nxc2?? giving away Knight for a pawn, followed by 22. Qc1?

26. Kh1?? once again leaving the poor Queen en prise, followed by 26... Bh6??

32... Bc1?? just giving away a Bishop for nothing, followed by 33. Rd3?

34. Ne2?, leaving the g2 pawn en prise

35... Rb8?? once again leaving the Bishop en prise for several moves.

Incomprehensible. Was that some kind of super-fast blitz game?

The tournament was rapid chess, but still, geez.
