carlsen and radjabov still play the black side of it. kasparov played it v anand etc. its completely fine for black, you just have to know what your doing.

I play the dragon with black often. I consider the Yugoslav the most dangerous formation that white can mount - to both sides. It is sharp and there's lots of tactics.

As a Dragon player, it is for sure one of the crucial line you need to prepare against. It's highly playable on both sides, but the highly tactical play doesn't always sit well with some players with the white pieces. If you opt to play the Dragon, better make damn sure you are confortable playing against the Yugoslav.
