Periodically when I try and enter LIVE chess I get the following error in both Firefox and IE
Abstract item not implemented (xxxxxx) the code cycles through various codes such as "Abstract item not implemented (z6dda6)"
Refreshing or going back through the Live Chess menu fixes it every time, but it always takes a second attempt before it works.

Maybee someting with your Java, try to uninstall java, and install the new one.
I'm not the only person to report this problem... Marty had a similar report back in November, so this is a relatively recent problem.

Can you clear your browser cache and retry?

I've been having this problem as well recently. Clearing the cache/temporary files seems to fix it for a little bit, but the error always keeps coming back.
I love how I post this and there's NO response from Chess.com web team .. at all. Same with Marty when he posted. LOL

I have this problem all the time too, but it doesn't look like it's going to be fixed.
It seems to happen when I use the back button to return to the playing page. If I click back to the home page and then through all the various links to get to the live chess page it doesn't happen.

Is it even possible to implement an abstract item or in doing so does it cease to be abstract?
dockeryz
This error is back apparently... Is there a fix? I've tried in FF8 and Chrome..same error.
