Heya~!
My autio vacation keeps activating and the game that is causing it keeps having time added to my clock whenever I turn off the vacation.
Here is the game: http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=42009069
Just a few minutes ago I had only 77 minutes left and it triggered auto vacation mode. When I undid vacation it added 24 hours to my time and now states I have 25 hours.
Q: Is this costing me a whole day vacation despite only being on vacation a few moments?
Q: How can I NOT go on auto vacation?
FWIW: I am purposely trying to go down to the wire and this auto vacation thing is sabotage.
Thank you.
Gert-Jan
what do you mean by 'go down to the wire' ? yes it costs you a whole day vacation when the auto-vacation is activated.

Thanks for the answers. The auto vacation is not a good idea (as are most things that are designed to be convenient--they limit people's choices).
@ Gert-Jan: My plan is/was to move when my "flag" is hanging (just a fvw minutes remaining before timing out). I have a serious (yet still petty) reason to do this but talking about it is apparently a no-no on this site.
There should be an option to not be on auto vacation.
Easy to write the code for this and implement.
Things designed to make humans even lazier are not so good for long term species advancement, I suspect.

I don't mean to rush to judgment, but you may be the sanest person I've encountered here. Don't know if they're original, but thanks for the two observations ("...designed to be convenient...." and "...long term species advancement....").
