Is there a way for me to write a blog post using straight HTML? I have a short essay at another blog that I'd like to share on this site, but it uses some markups that the editing menu doesn't allow. Am I limited by the features of the menu?

at this time we do not. your best bet is to paste it into the text box (the output, not the html) and see how it goes! :)
