Bogus claim to checkmate unfairly lost me a game

Hey, is your live chess broken or cheating?

It's white's move.  But it told me I was in checkmate.

How is that checkmate? I can take the queen with the rook.

I've seen this kind of error before.  Also in an earlier game it wouldn't let me castle even though I wasn't moving through check and hadn't move the kind or the rook on the side I tried to castle on.

You probably moved Be3 after he checkmated you. Sorry buddy. Nothing is broken. That's a mate on move 10.

you can't take the queen because of your bishop is on the c1 sq as kohai showing it, and the rule say you cannot castle to get out of check.

I don't get the point of this. Surely you knew it was checkmate when you played Be3 and now you're complaining about it. Bit dishonest.

Probably it was a 1/0 game and Be3 was a premove, so it looked to the OP as if the bishop landed on e3 before the queen landed on d1.

Hardly dishonest.  Have you played much 1 minute chess?  Toward the end people start moving frantically.  Looks like it let me get the bishop out before notifying me that it was checkmate and ended the game.

I didn't see the whole history, I saw the state of the board as it showed it to me as I pasted it when it declared checkmate.  Why the hell would I be "dishonest" about something like this and post it for scrutiny on a forum?

Yeah fair enough, apologies, didn't think about how quick the game was.

I have seen something similar, where I have time on my clock (according to the GUI) and I checkmate my opponent, but the server thinks I am already out of time and I lose.

Premoves can also be hazardous when the clock is running out because you don't always know what the position will look like when it's your move because of lag and other factors.
