Never seen this one before.  This was a timed-out game that ended:

It did not post to the completed games, but two new games were created:

    http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=45532111
    http://www.chess.com/echess/game.html?id=45532112

Do I play both of them? Do I get 2 wins if he times out on both?

I've restored the first game for you. Can you resign the duplicate game above where you haven't yet moved, then send me a message once you have so i can check to see if its affected either player ratings as i'll need to correct those.

Thanks for your help - I accidentally moved in the duplicate game (had another tournament statt), but resigned it after getting this message.

It does affect the ratings (thought it needed a few moves before that happened), although most of the recent decline in my rating is attributable to my brain not producing enough good moves.

The restored game now timed-out, as did the first of the pair listed above.  However, I still have a loss from resigning the duplicate game posted in the tournament results. No hurry, just updating...  Have a good weekend.

Almost there - the game results are now all back to normal.  However, there are two remaining consequences that have not yet returned to the previous state:

    1. I now have credit for an extra win in the Mag 7 tournament.

    2. There is still a discontinuity in my rating from the now-eliminated resignation.

Don't worry about the 2nd of these if it is not easy to fix.  Now I understand why they were so worried about disturbing the fabric of time on Star Trek.
