Unfortunately no games can be deleted.

Why do you want to start afresh?

can i start over?,  its been more than a year since i played a game "here".  i would like to completely start over.  you can have the games i dont care about them.  i cant even get a new user name or add a BFF to my e-mail.  a new user name would be nice i guess.  it  can change your persona!  If I cant start over i guess i will not play "here" again!  I will just come and get the free stuff i guess

pawnmiser, you can change your username once, through the settings on your profile: http://www.chess.com/home/edit_profile.html

Everyone has good days and bad days and the occasional slump. If anything, keeping your account and working hard on your games will reflect positively over time. You can look back and see how you've improved.

I think that you can retire from the club and start all over again with a brand new username and password.

I understand your desire of keeping your actual username because it is sort of a "person" (with its personality) in this virtual chess environment..

But rules are set so that you do not harm other uiser´s ratings by changing your username

Why would chess.com care if you delete an old account and make a new one. That is not cheating at all. Cheating would be keeping both accounts. I only ask because I was warned about "starting fresh" for some reason.
