I've never used chess.com.  I've never played chess on it.  It is on my Droid.  My friend has iPhone.  Neither of us can figure out the secret to playing against each other.  I can't find him and he can't find me. 

Can you give us clear step by step highly detailed instructions on exactly how he and I can use chess.com to play from my Droid and his iPhone.  He and I both have passwords and login ID and we can both see the software on our phones.

On my Droid if I click on "challenge a friend", I get error says

"sorry you have no friends yet. you can invite them via chess.com"

So I added him on chess.com and sent him an invitation that he didn't receive.  What's the secret?

I'm thinking that Chess.com is not good for cell phones and there's no help out there so I need a recommendation for a chess app that I can play from my Droid to someone with iPhone?  it simply should not be that hard to connect with another player from cell to cell
