can't log into android app on smartphone

    Hello

    I can't seem to login on the chess app on my android smartphone.  It says invalid password token.  But I can log in fine on the site.  What should I do?

    I have exactly the same problem. After logout I can't login. After pressing the login-Button nothing  happens. Yesterday everthing worked fine.

    Same problem with Android app, except I'm already logged in to my old session and nothing is able to refresh. If I knew how to log out and log back in (without reinstalling the app) I'd give that a try.

    "Re-login required."

    "Invalid login token supplied."

    That is, what I have done. And the consquences of that I reported. This (logout and login) doesn't solve the problem.

    Sorry you're having issues logging in! Just for general information you can log out of the app by going to the app settings. 

    Can you all please let me know which versions of the app that you're currently on? Are you using the beta app?  Thanks for your help!

    Thanks for the quick reply. We have decided for the time being to revert to version 2 of the app (prior to the redesign) while we get the issues worked out of version 3. So if you can please go into your application settings, find the Chess.com app, clear out the app data, and uninstall, you should be able to go to the google play store and install version 2 again.

    Version 3.0.118, cleared data and tried to login but nothing happens (no error message or feedback) when I enter my un:pw.

    I have the same problem, nothing happens when I click on "sign in". However, it works fine when using wi-fi instead of 3G.

    @Heler- What network are you using for your 3G service? Are you able to log into the website using the same 3G service and your mobile browser?

    My provider is Colruyt Mobile in Belgium. It is a Mobile Virtual Network Operator (MVNO) which uses the Mobistar network. It worked properly until a few days ago and Yes, I could log into the website using the 3G + web browser. I could not play properly however, since the regular live chess seems to be too heavy for the mobile.

    Also, when I log in under the Wi-fi and cut off the Wi-fi, it stays connected to the server using 3G, I can also disconnect normally, it is only the log in operation that fails.

    I cleared the cache nothing improved.

    I cleared the application data, nothing improved.

    I uninstalled and re-installed the application yesterday, nothing improved. Current version is 2.0.36

    Finally, the problem is concomittant with the time I started to use Wi-fi at home on my Mobile instead of 3G, but I don't know if it is related.

    Me too,I can't log in even I entered right password and right username. Nothing happens when i click sign in.I installed and reinstalled nothing happened . I wanna log in without using chrome. It's really easy to use the app

    Hi, I'm suddenly having the same problem. I was getting the invalid login message and the app wouldn't refresh, so I uninstalled and reinstalled, now I can't login at all (login works fine on the site though).

    I'm suddenly geting this issue today. Tried logging out and back in. Tried reinstalling. No luck with either. I have version 3.0.175.any fix for this?

    I can access through the site fine.

    Edit: fixed now not sure why.

    Had the same issue today also. Tried installing Facebook app and could login through Facebook. But invalid token errors and no refresh. I logged back out and disabled WiFi and could successfully log in through my LTE connection and see my pending moves. Try this as I notice this app seems finicky when switching to WiFi. If no data on your phone try rebooting your phone or toggling WiFi off and on. Let me know if this helps

    one thing worth noting is that I also logged into the site after the Facebook login and then uninstalling fb (hate that app).. so it could also be renewing the session by logging into the website from my phone that helped. if anyone experiences this issue that would be another thing to try.
