I keep getting the message below when I try to challenge a friend to a 960 game, even when I change the ratings to 200 and 2000 as the lower and upper limits.

'Oops?! We noticed the following errors in your form:
Your rating range must include your own rating. Try lowering your minimum rating or increasing your maximum rating.'

I get same thing. I tried putting minimum rating of my current online standard rating (because it says "You have no stats available in this game type" under Chess960 stats).

I also tried it in Firefox 2, 3 & Chrome 2.0 with the same result.

Thanks Eric and Gonno. Removing the ratings worked. It defaults to a new set of ratings when you change from regular to 960 chess. Didn't think to delete them. Doh!

wouldn't it be a good idea then to set the rating to empty by default, instead of having it default to a broken method?
