I'm trying to buy a membership but haven't been able to because at the moment it seems that you're not able to pay using paypal, which is my only option. I think it's because of the 10 day free trial that chess.com are offering at the moment. The only option seems to be to pay by credit card. I don't really care about the 10 day trial, I just want a membership. Can anybody help me out? Thanks.

 Presuming you feed Paypal from your bank, is there a way you can pay Chess.com

Hello londokampung. You should be able to go to the membership page at http://www.chess.com/membership.html and on the purchase screen choose the "Paypal" option when purchasing a premium membership. And for the free trial membership that is offered on Chess.com, it is only available by credit card, not through Paypal.

Unfortunately, I go to the membership page and there is no "Paypal" option. All there is to click is "Begin 10-day free trial".

Hi folks, I'm also experiencing the same issue, my yearly subscription has expired and I can only pay with Paypal, and I don't care for the 10 days trial. How can I upgrade again with Paypal?

I have the same problem. Want to buy a membership and want to use paypal but the membership page only has one button on it which takes me to the 10 day free trial registration page which has no paypal option. A few days ago I could have purchased via paypal because the 10 day free trial button wasn't on the membership page. But now it seems I can't or I have to wait until the offer expires. Is there another way to get to the standard purchase page rather than the special offer page?

Ok - don't know why but the page now has the subscribe button instead of 10 day free. So problem solved.
