I went into chess games explorer today to run through some of Mikhail Tal's games.  I tried about 10 games, and everytime, once i got to the second move, the board would stop working.  i would press "next" and the move wouldn't happen on the board.  what am i doing wrong?

This does appear to be a bug, I'll make sure the right people know about it.
