Causing me extreme frustration.

Chess board randomly just quits.

This happened SEVERAL times. 

Message says your turn and nothing works.

1) Is this on "live chess" or "online chess?"

2) What browser and what version are you using? Chess.com officially recommends the latest version of chrome, and the latest version of firefox also should run very smoothly on live chess.

Some verions of internet explorer are known to be problematic for some users. Try logging in with firefox or chrome, clear your cookies and temporary files (cache) and try again.

online chess, safarai, and also firefox, chrome...they all freeze eventually

sound like you got either a poor internet connection or a poor/slow computer.

hmmmm.... got comcast hi-speed, and 2008 macbook with snow leopard.

seems that when playing against computer and whenever I'm winning as in

final moves, the message says "computer thinking" and then nothing after waiting 5 minutes....game just freezes. Behaves the same with firefox and safari. VERY frustrating

Nothing I hate worse than frozen chess.
