I downloaded chess mobile onto my blackberry 9000 and ran the program. But after writing my login and password and pressing enter (or login - I can't remember the name of the prompt) nothing happened. I tried uninstalling and installing again to no avail. Any tips?
I've got the Curve and have had spotty results at best. Sometimes I log in quickly, submit moves, etc and it all works great; other times I get a white screen and have to force quit. Maybe if Erik and Co. compile a list of models and problems they can get it working better, faster.
Yes, I have a blackberry pearl and it works at times, other times not so great. We are definitely still working out the kinks in this program. sorry for the inconvenience.
thanks, guys. let us know when you guys figure out the bb issues. I've uninstalled it for now.
I tried installing the mobile chess.com app again, after a couple of months, but it still seems to not work on my BB Bold... any news on this?
what error message do you get? anything? (its actually not working for me either) on my BB pearl
I don't get an error message. after I log in, nothing happens. at all. It just sits there...
i've a BB storm and downloaded the latest 2.3 chess.com mobile app.
i see the games but i can't view any boards?
Also, on my Internet browser, i can only get the board but i don't see

Oh yeah, btw guys, if you want a good way to access Chess.com on your blackberry - try the following:
Google 'Opera Mini Blackberry _____ [pearl in my case] download' and download this prgm. It is awesome! I can view forums make online chess moves, review games, check out the puzzles (though not actually play through them unfortunately). You have to be patient/careful about where in each square you click since it was not designed for such use, but it works!!!
Also for those of you who are not premium members (yet!) and are restricted to 3 moves/24hrs, it is a way around this, though more cumbersome.
Another advantage is that it allows you to see how much time your oponent has left in the waiting games. But everything else, your stats, and other things from the site, are all accessible.
Try it out - it saved my life!
