There is no Chess.com application in Android Market (Google play) for Android 4.0. Why it can be?

I have the app running on my device with 4.0, so far without issues but I had it installed when I recently upgraded (though I haven't tried Live). Not sure the app has been fully tested on 4.0.x yet; maybe that's why you don't see it.

I also recently upgraded my android os to 4.0 with the chess app already installed and that worked. But now I updated the app (yesterday) and it has begun to fail.

Therefore my advice : if you have the app working on an android 4.0 os, then DON'T upgrade the app. At least not for now.

works for me, if that doesnt work, let me know.

I search just "Chess.com". Searching didn't show necessury app in results.

If I look for it from "early installed apps" Google Play writes "app does not supported on your device". But my device with Android 2.0 supports it.

What device are you using, and is it the official 4.0 Rom you are using, or did you flash a custom Rom?

I just saw that there was an update ready to install here 10 mins. ago. I installed it and now it works great on android 4.0.

Note : My android 4.0 is an official update installed about 3 days ago. My phone is a SonyEricsson XperiaMiniPro (SK17)

I use Chinese "Ployer Momo 9" build on AllWinner platform (which is used in Samsung Galaxy Tab). Update to Android 4 taken from Ployer official site. I can't say that is an official 4.0 Rom. Maybe it qualified by Google Play as a custom device. In some Android 4.0 installations for my device I can set a description and Google Play qualified it as "Samsung Galaxy Tab", but Chess.com app isn't available although.
