Why dont we add online poker? That has nothing to do with this site either so...

we'll do everything possible for regular chess before we do any variants.

Maybe adding some variants would be nice. Chinese chess, chess960, Shatranj, Capablanca's chess... But as erik said, the priority is the regular chess.

There are a few places to play Xiangqi (Chinese Chess) online.  This site seems to be one of the most prominent:

http://www.clubxiangqi.com/

For me, I have tried out internet play sites, and I much prefer face to face.  I plan on holding a tournament in the fall in the Detroit area.   Fairly small, inexpensive, and I hope to do some small sections of Chess variants, including Xiangqi.  Of course, the original poster was from Indonesia, so it isn't likely I'll see him there, but if anyone else is interested, do an occasional search on the term, because I will certainly post an event notice on Chess.com

Oh, and if I do Xiangqi, I will certainly do Chess960 as well.
