My opponent in a turn-based game has a paid membership including unused vacation .  His clock ticked down to 70 minutes remaining and his vacation started; automatically, I presume.

His vacation continues, with vacation time remaining decreasing.  But the stopped move-clock now shows 4 hours 40 minutes remaining.

Which should the clock time be when vacation ends?  70m or 4h40m?

The minimal vacation time is 24h. If the player resumes play earlier, say after x hours where x < 24, the difference 24-x hours will be added to his remaining time.

In this case, the vacation has lasted for 5+ days and is still in effect.
