I really love this site.  I particualarly like the correspondence chess.  because I'm a non-member (something I hope to remedy as soon as I move and get my life together again), I'm only able to play in one tournament at a time.  I'm about to finish my last game in my first tournament and it has taken forever.  I'm really anxious to join a new tournament but I fear I won't be able because one player in the tournament has been using ALL of his time.

Is it possible for me to join a new tournament once MY games have all been finished?  If not could you at least consider changing the rules so that this would be possible for us free chess.com lovers?  I'm sure that to some degree or another you might be thinking, "If you want to play tournaments so badly then get a membership."  But consider vacation time.  This thing could drag out into next year.  Maybe I'm exagerating but any consideration on this matter would be GREATLY appreciated.

thanks

Anthony

Once YOUR games are complete, you should be able to join the other tournament.

(assuming it is not a multi-round tournament)

Nope, even for multi-round tournaments. As long as you have 0 games going in a tournament that is in progress, then that tournament does NOT count against you when determining if you can join more tournaments.
