I'm currently in a game where I think en passant is appropriate but I cannot execute the move. Am I wrong in thinking it is en passant or is there a specific chess.com move for en passant?
I have posted elsewhere but hope someone can help as I want to make a move now.
Unfortuantely, I don't know how to insert the game here!
Thanks
Arby
That because your opponent has moved from h6-h5 and it is only applicable if the pawn had not moved at all (h7-h5).
Allygirl,
What can I say? I am an eejit! lol.
I was too busy trying to do a lot of different things that I overlooked the obvious.
Many thanks
You’re very welcome.
I’ve been there (in similar circumstances), mostly with online (chess) scenarios.
The only other alternative I could add is, to hit the tab keys every once in while to check on moves and details of the game.
