Your help would be appreciated.

I've recently started a new thread titled "Poker Players" and set the forum category as "Off Topic" and submitted it. However, it didn't appear in the most recent posts list, I'm concerned nobody will see it. I'm sure there's a logical explanation to it. I'm only fairly new to this site so still learning.

Thanks

I'll try submitting it again.

Ok thanks, I assume it was because I set it as Off Topic, seems strange that this would happen though. I'd assume that all new threads would show up under Most recent posts irrespective of the category.

The off topic posts don't show as they often have nothing in the world to do with chess at all.  And there is a forum just for members that does not show either.  Heck, maybe there is even one for diamond members...don't tell me though.  Wouldn't want to destroy all the mystery.
