If I go to My Home - Online Chess - Settings I see the display below. When I set opponent rating to min=1400 and max=1700, when do these settings apply?
If I look at Open Seeks, it does not apply there. In Open Seeks I still see games with players outside of this rating range.
If I click "Start Game" and my challenger is not always within the rating range I specified. So how/when/where do these settings actually apply?
and what is Max # of games?
Lousy
These settings apply when people challenge you to a game

it means that only someone in the 1400-1700 range can challenge you. It also stipulates that you will not be playing more than five games at any one time. You will only receive challenges for one, two, or three move a day games. of course you can change these settings as you desire. Now when you go to "open seeks," that's a different story all together. there you can accept OTHER people's challenges.
Ah... OK, I got it. So these are the filters applied to any "qualified" challenger.
