My computer has dial up and it disconnects constantly, sometimes it reconnects on its own, sometimes it doesn't. When it doesn't, I have to restart my computer and I have no idea how to get back to the game I was playing. I don't want my account to look like I up and quit the game because it happened to me 3 times now and I'm sure it appears to my opponent that I quit.

Sadly I don't think there is a way to stay on your game with dial up. I guess you could just notify Chess, com about it then tell them that this is totaly unintentional. Just dont sound like you are overly trying to convince them becouse they then may not beleive you. Also one thing you can do is type in then copy paste it into the diferent game chats to tell them that this might happen. Also if there is still time on the clock you can keep playing by going to "live chess" then click on the little tabby that should be on the same row as "new game" and "tourniments" click on it and keep playing.

I have dial-up too, so my connection isn't great for live chess, but lucky for me it's good enought that I rarely get disconnected. When I do disconnect (I've even accidentally exited the tab) I just go back into live chess and the game is right there waiting for me.
It just did it to me again and I went back and couldn't get back to the game. I went to live chess and my game wasn't there.
How long did it take to get back? After 2 min. the game is automatically aborted and you lose.

What is "dial-up?"

I know. It's sad that we can't get cable wired to our community because all the phone companies only care about making money. Ridiculous. It should be about communication, greedy corporations anyway.
