Glicko and RD for online games

I was reading this and I found it very interesting and informative.

I would have a couple of questions, and I would appreciate if anyone (who knows how the system works) could reply!

    1. With regards to Online games, which rating is used to calculate the rating variation at the end of a game? The Glicko rating the players had when they started the game (potentially, months if not 1/2 years earlier), or their current rating when the game between them is over? I tend to believe the rating at the end, which would explain why the rating variation is now shown by default, but it has to be calculated…
    2. And similar to this: which RD factor is used, to calculate the new rating? The one at the start of the game, or the one at the end?

Thanks in advance for any reply!

Hello Andrea. I believe the stats at the moment of the game ending are used for the calculations.
