See if you can be helpful in the forums - check the Unanswered Posts, and those in the Help & Support forum. Point people to the relevant answers in the FAQ and encourage them to contact the Support team at https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new if they have a strange or unusual problem. Use the link yourself to report any particularly nasty user notes you see or find on other people's profiles.

You can't t really apply to be a Moderator like CrystalMoon - you have to be invited, and we only invite people who have demonstrated the sort of helpfulness mentioned above.

Another problem. I want to move pieces and I can't. What should I do?

See if there's a Moderator in the Help & Support Chat room and ee if they can help you with the problem straight away. If they can't, they may ask you to log a Support ticket.

Try closing and restarting your internet browser first too.
