How can i stop getting messages???

hey guys. i have been working extremely hard every night deleting messages from one of my groups. id like to block those messages from being sent to me. Therefore, how can i stop the group from sending them 2 me? Thanks guys.

Go to the group's home page and under "Group Menu" select "Alerts" and untick the relevant boxes.

This comes up quite a lot, perhaps the staff should consider setting to the defaults to no alerts rather than an alert every time someone in the group scratches their ass?
