Resolved: How do I delete a group?

I am the administrator of a group that is no longer active (there are still a few members but no one is active and I've let them know that I'm going to delete the group).  How do I delete the group?  The name of the group is "GrayMatter Ladder Chess."

    Thanks

    From what I know it's a two-step process:

    (1) the boss boots all members, but himself can't leave. This is because chess.com settings require at least 1 admin or superadmin to still remain in the group.

    (2) call kohai. Only staff can delete a group out of existence.

Just make someone else the super admin, make yourself a member, then quit the group. Make it the new guys problem. Tongue out

Is that how I ended up as the only Super in so many groups?  I guess I'm the "new guy," eh?  Wink

Also, if the group has EVER played ANY team matches or Vote Games, then it can NOT be deleted because doing so would mess up all the records within all the other groups that they had played.

If only this group + group idea had been implemented.

Would there be a provision for hostile takeovers under such a scheme?

You've seen group-hysteria post #15? And who could forget stop-thief---they-stole-our-name?
