it isn't possible at the moment...
How do I set up a challenge with a random position?
Darn. I guess something to put on the to-do list for the next upgrade. Thanks for the info Kacparov, I have no idea how you play all those games and are still able to provide assistance in the forum ... But then I think you are from a different universe
There is enthusiasm for this idea in previous discussions ...

- new-games-with-predetermined-set-up
- custom-starting-positions2
The only problem I see is that some people might set up a game with a position they have mastered and would be a easy win for them. Other wise I think it would be a very good idea for teaching purposes.

Well, these random positions would have to be unrated.
it is
How?
You can create a daily challenge with a custom position. As far as I know, I don't think you can create a live challenge with a custom position.

Dear community,
I like to issue a game challenge to an unrated game to a friend to help him improve his tactics. Essentially, I want to set up positions with puzzles he has to solve. I cannot find such an option. I can set up starting positions with any opening that ever got an opening code assigned to it but I don't see an option for a random one. Can anyone help?
Thanks,
Dietmar
