Sorry if someone has already posted this but I've been having a problem seeing my games if I'm not logged on - I've bookmarked my games page so that I can quickly see how much time I've got left without having to log in - I think this only happens when I'm not logged in btw. This happens at home and work (I would imagine because I'm not supposed to know ;)

This is what I see:

so I did some random clicking around on other players' profiles and sometimes I see them and sometimes  I get this sort of error message which is nearly the same:

It's consistant in the way that I can always either see a persons profile or I get the error page for that person's profile.

This started happening yesterday I think although maybe since the upgrade that just happened sometime.

Lisa.

PS I just found out about mobile chess which is cool :)

Hello Lisa,

I never faced this kind of error, but once I had a password problem. I ask the site support about it, and they solved the problem very quickly, so you should try to ask as well.

Flupke.

Thanks Rebekka and Flupke, it all seemed to be OK at work today (I would imagine;) even though I haven't done anything. I got the spybot and it found a few things though that my anti-virus hasn't (Norton) but I've been told AVG is better and its free. Spent enough non-chess time tonight with spybot so AVG will have to wait.

Oh I use AVG (free) always ... and when my disc crashed almost 2 years ago, I used one-month-trial AVG-full! [I only had to put back the intentionally small C partition: other partitions were intact with all the data and programs...] - it is the same disc that I am using now on this machine...

Oh sorry it is supposed to be always 'disk' for 'hard disk' and 'disc' for 'compact disc' and something or the other for whatever 'dvd' stands for -- nevermind... words should mean what I want them to mean, as humpty dumpty said.., at least when the meaning is clear from context... :)

Try to upgrade firefox to 3.0.5 ( you have 3.0.3) and to turn off some of the hundreds of add-ons your are using.

Thanks NormaJean and Ben, I bought the full version of AVG on ebay from some dodgy bloke that got his account shut because of complaints :( and I've got version 3.06 of firefox now. BTW, I've only got 51 add-ons. Is that too many ;) Oh - the problem seems to have fixed itself though :)
