Hello again chess.com staff!:)

I recently terminated my one month premium level membership due to school starting; I previously had had a gold membership and was very satisfied with it! I got the one month premium membership to take advantage of the two week break I had between the time my summer classes ended and the time the fall semester started (two weeks ago). I originally had written in the help forum asking if jumping up to a premium membership for a month then dropping back down to my gold membership was possible, and I was told it was. However, now I'm done with my premium membership and I'm back to a basic membership!?:) I think this may be due to the fact that I mispoke and kept asking to be put back to my "basic membership" once my premium one ended, when the entire time I wanted to return to my original "gold membership" that was supposed to end next January.

I was wondering, could someone please read my original post titled "Temporary Diamond Membership" in the "Help and Support" forum and see if I can get my original gold membership back ($30- this membership was supposed to end in next January I believe) for the price of the one month premium membership(roughly $13 I believe?). I'm really sorry for all the confusion, especially since I think I may have caused most of it! But if a staff member could read that original post and help me resolve the situation so I can get my gold  membership back without having to completely re-purchase a new one, I'd greatly appreciate it! It's definitely worth my initial investment! Thx and hope to hear from you guys soon:)

    Sincerely,

    Steve (croyboss)

Hello Steve. I am sorry for the confusion. Your Chess.com account has now been returned to your previous Gold membership that you purchased.

It has been only a few months since I played here, but apparently that was too long:  They just had me play an introductory game with a greeter.  And I used to be a greeter.
