Posting on the very off chance that you don't realize you can "unfriend" someone and then block them. Home>Friends>find his name on the list and Remove.
I want to block a {friend? / enemy!}
How can I block another user?
You can do this from your 'Privacy Settings'. To get to 'Privacy Settings,' move your cursor over 'Home,' then select 'Account,' then choose 'Manage your Privacy Settings' This will lead you to this page: ( http://www.chess.com/home/privacy.html ) and you will see a section at the bottom of the page where you can enter a username to block.
Once blocked, a member cannot do any of the following:
- post notes to your account
- send you messages
- accept your game seeks
- be auto-matched with you in open seeks
- join tournaments that you are running
- post in content that you created
You're very welcome. As a relatively new member you may not be acquainted with the Help & Support pages (down at the bottom of the page beside the green pawn), but they are well worth taking a look at. Another resource you may not be familiar with is the forums. They have been archived so a quick "Search Forums" can sometimes yeild dozens of previous threads on a subject.
Why isn't there a block in friend / members!
Igotu if you're reading this! Your constant entering to watch my table & leaving is pure annoyance! I ask <Support> to iggy you permanently! No apologies necessary!
