How do I change my status in the new format?

i cant find my status, help

I believe status is a feature that has been removed, just as we lost chess.com e-mail and gained those nasty live chess noises when they went to the new format.

I did what Tony said and changed my status but dammed if i can see it on my profile, can anyone else ?

Click on your profile then go to the tab "about me" it shows where it usually does :)
