Inactive Admins in our Group

I am in a group in which all of our admins are mostly inactive, and our sometimes-active Super Admin seems to be ignoring us normal members. We can't play team matches or vote chess because our admins are never around to start them. Is it possible for a site admin/moderator/staff member/anyone to upgrade one of our most active members to group admin? And if so, how can I go about having that done?

You could try submitting a Support ticket through https://support.chess.com/customer/portal/emails/new, but I don't think you'll have much luck - that doesn't seem like the sort of thing staff or moderators would get involved in.

If the Super Admin and other Admins don't seem particularly interested in making you or another active person an Admin, I suspect you'd need to start a separate group of your own and invite members from the existing group to your new one. It's why we have so many different denominations in the world today Wink

Thx Caedrel. I didn't think it would be the type of thing staff would do, but I thought I'd ask. You're probably right about creating a new group too...

Sorry RJC, I must be dense. I don't get it. :P

By announcing that your creating a new group like Caedrel suggested, you inesants get rid of the excess baggage and in-active members and admin.

Yeah, that occurred to me. Kinda makes the idea sound even better! :D
