iPad App Constantly Logging Out

Every couple of minutes, the iPad app will log out, and when I try to log back in, it tells me I need to log in at chess.com first.  When I come try to log in to chess.com, it will give me CAPTCHA (which it doesn't normally do).  Once I enter the CAPTCHA, I can log back into the iPad app.

This is especially annoying for those of us who use password managers.  Any time I want to use the chess.com iPad app, I have to:
    - Open up my password manager and log into that
    - Close that, open up my web browser and log into chess.com
    - Close that, open up the iPad app
I have to go through this process every couple of minutes.

Is this problem being worked on, and is there a workaround?

Connecting via facebook is a possible workaround.

Try ignoring the password request and pressing the online back button on upper left. That circumvents it for me and logs me in. (if you are talking about the chess.com app)

can you confirm for me -

Are you using tie iPad to view Chess.com? or using the iPad app?

Is the captcha you're seeing on the app or iPad web browser?

Here's another one: Assuming it's the iOS app we're talking about in the first place, are you logging in via Facebook Connect or the usual username/password?

    Thanks.

@kohai/DeepGreene:  I'm logging into the iPad app via normal username/password (not facebook).  Every so often, after I try to play a move, it will give me an error and say something along the lines of "please log in again."  When I try to, it tells me I can't, that I need to visit the webpage first.  When I try to log in via the webpage (either through safari on the ipad, or on a computer), it gives me a CAPTCHA, which it doesn't normally do.  After I answer the CAPTCHA and log in via the webpage, I can close out and attempt to relogin via the iPad app.  This time, it works, and I can play for a while before it happens again.

Thanks much. The CAPTCHA is required (we think) because the app is trying to log you in over and over again and (for some reason) failing... One more question and one suggestion:

Question: Does this happen only during Live Chess games or Online chess games, or does it happen wherever you happen to be in the app?

Suggestion: Could you try changing your site password and see if that makes any difference? (Hey! The suggestion was also a question! Laughing)
