Is it possible to close an account and reopen it with diamond membership?

Just wonderin, probably won't do it,but I've been thinking of it. Don't ask why please, I have my own reasons.

Why would you want to close your account if you bought the diamond membership?

chessdex, you can close and reopen quite easily. You just message staff and they'll do it. They've done it for me.

not sure why you would do that, do you know that you can just upgrade your current account to diamond  ( or platinum or gold) membership, right?

You dont need to close this one to open a 'paid account'. If you want to do that you are free to do so. You can close as many account you wast and reopen a new one, You have just to keep in mind that you hae to close the existing account before to open a new one.

Can I close this one, then reopen another and just transfer my diamond membership to it? Or do I have to pay for a whole diamond mem. again?

Again. There is no reason to do it. Why would you want to do that?

ah... you want to trasfer an existing diamond to a different account? i dont think so, but you should ask the staff.

I would. It like to say why, I believe I have a food reason. Highly likely I wont do it, but I am keeping it in mind. If it's not even possible, I would just disregard it completely.

Yeah, I'm sure they do, but it is rare that this happens and they have a ton of helpful staff, so...

My belief is that when an account is closed everything is lost including a Diamond Membership.

Use this account for diamond features and the new one as a play chess/ browse forums account?
