Or is it just me? I keep getting 'server returned invalid data'.
anyone else having this problem?
Maybe you need to download the most recent version? Though there are still some issues (for example the board drawn by Mobile Chess application is slightly bigger then the display of my mibile phone) there were no connection issues yet.
I actually uninstalled it this morning and reinstalled. Same issue.
I'm seeing it too.
Me too
Ditto that. I reinstalled but I'm still getting the error on my Blackberry Curve.
same problem :) and what's interesting if not only i have this message why support asks my mobile phone model and other details? )
Same issue here in the UK - when it tries to get the list of games it comes back with an error "server sent invalid data"
same in NYC...since yesterday. curses!
And the same here in France
Intermittant at best on the blackberry
I was never able to even load it... on a Nokia N75 no less!
-------------
Just tried it again, with the same result "Web: unsupported content type"
On my Nokia N95 8GB it did work fine untill today
My Sony Ericsson k660i was fine till today, I've emailed support....
The error has been fixed. I just tried and it worked again... :-)
Looks good now. Thanks for the quick work.
Cheers
Blackberry curve/Verizon, unable to connect to server "server returned invalid data."
I tried to install the newer version just prior to getting this error, but the install failed and I had to remove the battery to reset. Which is no fun, because every time I do that I have to rebuild my blackberry messenger contacts.
I was able to download this to my LG Lotus just fine, but I can't get it to log me in. Has anyone received this error?:
"java/lang/NullPointerException with error message:
at com.chess.ChesscomCanvas.hideNotify( +5)"
I have no idea what that means...
I'm convinced that the mobile chess simply just won't work on the Blackberry Curve. I have tried to install it numerious times without success
