Is there a no trophy setting ? so that one does not get a trophy so one doesn't have to thank the trophy giver, so the trophy giver doesn't have to thank the receiver for thanking the giver and on and on blah blah blah

I don't think there is. I see what your saying, but just thank them for the trophy and move on.

Yes that is very true! I found it go to your Account then Notification Settings then unmark the trophies box save the settings and there you go!

I just looked at the Help and Support and didn't find anything about having to say thank you for a trophy.

I went to my account. There is no notification setting.  The closest I could find is Alert and email settings where one can delete fun trophies, which is different then game trophies

It is an alert setting for all trophies that are given to you.

This wouldn't have anything to do with a certain thin-skinned self-proclaimed redneck - would it?  Cool

Why not at all Mr. Patzer. Just a sheer coincidence.

Plus some one asked if there was a way to not get them and I'm checking it out     Laughing

yes but that just deletes the alert to me of getting a trophy it doesn't prevent me from getting a trophy if I don't want to receive them

Why would you not want to receive a trophy? If you do know that you get one you won't be able to thank them. Your problem does sound a little confusing.

What's so confusing ? I'd like a box that I could tick which would stop people from sending me trophies, not just alerts but trophies and why is not important  Just like people who do not receive friend request, or not receive game challenges, or tournament invites. Their why is not important. what is improtant is for them to have the ability to do it.   Sounds pretty simple to me

    Simple yet rather interesting.

    Ok Guvvie.

I think I will totally agree with scut on this (his) point, that he and maybe others, should have a box to tick to prevent anyone from sending them 'meaningless but possibly annoying trophies'.

scut, have you sent this suggestion to staff to look at yet ? or just posted here ?
