I would recommend deleting all of the temporary internet files (sometimes called cache) that are stored by your browser. If you are unsure how to do this, here is a tutorial: http://support.chess.com/index.php?_m=troubleshooter&_a=steps&troubleshootercatid=1&parentid=0 .

Thanks for the quick reply!
Sorry, should have mentioned I had tried that already. Just did it one more time to be safe, and still encountering the same issues... Other ideas maybe?
Try another browser (Firefox or Chrome), let me know if you have the same issue there.
Don't mean to not cooperate here, but I don't have another browser on this computer. Plus, it used to work on this very same computer, very same browser.
Is it possible that you can install another browser to try this out? That might help us narrow this issue down.
Also, you say it used to work, what did you change on your computer between the time it was working and now?
Not really, this is officially my company's computer so I can't make changes such as installing a new browser. And I don't know that I really changed anything between now and then. I'm sure something happen, just don't know what...
Other issue I've noticed now, is I can't chat in online chess. I can type a message but either pressing Enter or clicking Enter launches an indefinite wait period. Similar to my other issues...
