I have gotten this message for the past hour in live chess, but it still shows there are over 1600 people currently online.

(Personal opinion below, and does not necessarily represent the views of chess.com management or anyone else with authority or insight.)

There are situations, I believe, where no one can enter Live Chess but those that WERE in Live Chess are still there. At least there have been such situations in the past. Can't be sure that this is what is going on, but it's possible.

hmm i am currently getting a message on my account saying live chess is unavailable but i logged in my other account and it works completely fine so i dont know??

I thought one is allowed only one account

one account per email adress... but i restarted my computer and still cant go into live chess threw this account so i guess the king of clubs is done i hope an admin can explain?

I tried but I cant!!! and see +1600 logged on. Pretty odd and I didn't get a message the service would be down either.

Well the number of people in Live Chess is down to 1200 from 1700 earlier, so perhaps it's just not letting people log into it, but those that are already in it can stay.

The reason I logged out of it was because none of my challenges were appearing, so I thought it got bugged, but when I returned I haven't been able to sign back into live chess.

Right, we are working on these problems. Should be fixed soon!
