My 1st live game of 5-min time limit vs tarheel27, i won the game in all respect; material wise n timewise but suddenly board disappeared, i found a message to reconnect by clicking 'ok', i did it n then it kept loading n giving me a message 'please wait'....loading continues infinitely... i wait ...wait n wait n eventually found that i lost that game on time .... bad taste....what to do???????????????

Sorry...but I had the same experience and I rectified the proble....I DON'T PLAY LIVE CHESS ANYMORE....stick to online chess and play our time limit.  Hope this solves your prob..

we're working on it! please make sure you are NOT using Internet Explorer as your browser - it doesn't work with Live Chess yet....

thanks erik n chiefster... i am using mozilla firefox, surprisingly after that 1st game i played 8-9 more blitz games without any problem...i appreciate chiefster's advice but the thrill n enjoyment of speed chess is fascinating, somewhat addiction-type , atleast to me...it is good exciting excercise for brain n test of ur nerves...

I had problems, but switched to FireFox.  All is right with the world now.

That's why Firefox is better than Internet Explorer
