I've recently sent an email from Chess.com to a coach registered here on Chess.com.
I sent it throw the link from Chess.com (though to her email NOT at Chess.com) which let me write the message in a cute little box like the ones I post forum messages in...
I got a reply... with my original message attached (I've asked to make sure the horrivle thing I see attached is exactly what she got)
Hi XXXXXX. I'm Noam Taich, from Israel.I'm XXXXXXXXX XXXX XXXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXXX XXXXXXXXXXX XXXXI'm XX XXXXXX XXXXXXXX XX XXXXX XX XX (They're XXXX-XXXX). XXX, I'm XXXXXXXXX XX XXX XXXX-XXXX XXXX. X XXXXXX XXXX XXXX XXX XXXXX. I'm XXXX X XXXX XXX XXXXXX XXXXX XXXX Thanks.Noam
(Sorry for the obfuscation, the message didn't contain anything personal, I'm just used to doing it to all my messages when posting them on public).
You see the problem? newlines and certain escape characters (" ' " ,for instance) aren't sent properly to other emails. This makes emails sent from direct links here very unfriendly looking.
Hope this gets fixed soon. Till then, this is just an inconvenience.
Hmm.... Interesting. I can't remember if I wrote it from my Firefox run on Debian, or from internet explorer 7 on my windows.
One of the two. You have specific problems with one of them?
