what's member points and what are the point of making member points??
do you get something when you get to 1000, 2000, 3000???
no it just tracks how many comments you are making. I don't know if there is much of a point to it. The points do let you know how active someone is on the site, other than playing games.
I contacted Chess.com some time ago about the same question as you have, hat, and they said exactly the same as escral. It just shows how active you've been on the site and I agree with escral, pretty pontless (please excuse the pun!) I think.
oh....
i thought that they said that you get a t-shirt or something for free, well they said that some time ago
I think the free t-shirt was for becoming a premium member but they don't do that any more.
they tricked me, arrrgggghhhhhh, got so much points for nothing lol
Funny you don't get points, say, for each chess game played.
They used to give out t-shirts when you reached 1,000 points, but that was a long time ago.
It does give something for the spammers to reach for though.
The question about what member points are is answered in the FAQ section. Why did you call this an "urgent" matter? This isn't urgent.
Neither are the 147 spam e-mails in my inbox.

I love the way Chess boy provides help well after it has already come and we have moved on to the jokes.
I love the way ivandh continues this thread even after it has run it's course...
Says the guy who posted last...
You've bumped it first so why not :P
Yeah, he bumped it first! *Points at ivandh*
*points*
I vote fallacy. A thread can only truly be said to have run its course when sloughterchess starts posting analysis of his games against fritz.
Member points are a measure of your worth as a human being. Those with more points go to Heaven.
I may have made this up...nevermind.
Now, Cow, that's funny.
