How do I complain to Chess.com for a violation of the Fair Play policy by a member who stalled a game for 20 minutes?
I have the member's user name and the game's number. He was definitely connected the whole time. He must have just walked away from the game.
Thanks, I couldn't find a place on this website for filing a complaint under the Fair Play Policy.

i am sorry that happened to you it happens to us all but i dot think it is against the rules because the player could claim that he was thinking
Hey Champ! Well about the stalling, it is actually specifically mentioned in the fair play precepts. So the Management is aware that it is not "thinking" when it gets to an unreasonably long time. Like, burn 20 mins. on a move? Esp. when this move was a no-brainer. My B was aiming a rifle at his Q on a diagonal. He moves his Queen or loses his Queen. Big deal! LOL.

You can send in a ticket to Support... the system also tracks this activity, if it is repeated, their ability to play Live Chess is restricted.

go to the bottom of this page and go to help and support, you should be able to find information on reporting behaviour there.
Hi. When I said I had looked all over the website that incl. the Help and Support section. But thanks for replying.
Uhmmm...I had actually been there too. When I went there just now (Tuesday) there was this message with a red "X": Invalid department ID specified; please select a valid department.
When I went to this page last night trying to "help myself" I couldn't find a complaint choice that fit this stalling behavior. I saw abuse but this didn't seem to be abuse to me per se after going to the next page and reading about it there. So I was up-in-the-air (still am).
I am glad that the system somehow is able to track this kind of violation of fair play. I guess that it is programmed to notice when someone doesn't take a move for 20 mins. and then the game is forfeited on time?

Perhaps he nodded off. It has happened to me before, playing in bed.
(for non-english speakers, I mean "maybe he fell asleep")
Perhaps he died. I decided to check out that possibility and looked him up. He is playing games today so he didn't die during our game. While looking at his games history I noticed that I was not the only player that he treated this way. There are several games with just one move, or four. Things like that. I actually feel sorry for him if he has to get his ratings up by exasperating his opponents into resigning to him instead of waiting him out.
