I have a samsung intensity trough verizon and I cannot download the mobile phone app. I get a bad mimetype error message. (I don't like mimes anyway what with the whole trying to escape a box act.... ) will it not work on this phone.

unfortunately,i don't know what to say. you should be able to go to http://chess.com/mobile and download. are you able to get other java midlets on the phone?

It doesn't seem like the phone support Java midlets. The specification on Samsungs site doesn't say so anyway. So you might just be outta luck.

That's what verizon said so I guess I'll just use the old fashioned laptop.
