i would be very very happy about some sort of simplified mobile version. the site opens but the boards can't be seen.

and unfortunately the iphone support won't help 'cause i don't own one, just a nokia.

Great news Erik,

I dont have an iphone, I have a Blackberry which can emulate a few different browsers, but I can't seem to get logged in via the blackberry browser.

I tried with my Sony Ericsson, and using miniopera, but Javascript boards are not supported :( , must be an application receiving moves, then showin in your phone.

By the way, i have the .jar on my phone, its bye Cellufun,

http://www.cellufun.com/Games/games.asp?game=Chess

the engine is pretty smart, and is suposed to you can play 'online', but when i tried never found a player :)

If you're looking for a really simple interface you could try the chess.com mobile app. Depending on model it should work on Blackberry, Nokia and Sony Ericsson mobiles. :-)

That's what I was thanking Erik and team for. ;)  Original post goes back to Dec 2007, before mobile chess was implemented.
