I set up a Chess.com email address, but I haven't the foggiest notion how to access it to check it for incoming emails, or to send an email. On my Control Panel, I see an icon for Email, but when I click on it, all that happens is a file called Parse.php is downloaded to my computer. What's that all about? Can someone please explain? Thanks very much.

What web browser are you on? The Chess.com mail system may not be compatible with the web browser you are using. It should work on Firefox or Internet Explorer web browsers.

FWIW, I have noticed that it does not work with Google Chrome.

I've been using Safari, but I can switch to Firefox. I'll give it a try and comment back later.

I'm using Firefox on my Mac with OS-X now, and it looks like Chess.com email works in it. Clicking on Email takes me to a nice-looking email interface, that looks not too unlike Yahoo mail or Gmail, so I guess that will work.

I get nothing using Safari, though--just a strange download of a file called Parse.php to my computer's downloads folder.
