I have a friend under the stairs who needs a sofa, and a van to collect it in.

I have a van (blacked-out, naturally), but have eaten all my friends. Maybe I can take your friends away in my van? Not sure that I need a sofa, though.

Eric,

my suggestion would be to play some chess, in doing so, you will meet people in an organic way (common interests, age, or sense of humour etc.) "Friends" for the sake of "friends", seems a pointless "box-ticking" exercise. Good luck with the chess! Smile

I've already promised the sofa to Solhilde's friend. Are you trying to sneak in and steal the sofa from under him/her!

 Shame on you.

Around 7:30's good for me. I'll make sure that they have a bath before hand :)

Wow, what a nice guy. You've got great friends.

Kohai, are you still interested, or have a burnt this particular bridge?

*Sign* Will i ever get this sofa shifted :(

If it's here any longer I'll need to start charging it rent.

Does anybody know where i can get a sofa that folds out to become a flight of stairs - this would be really handy in my van, preferably bi-directional stairs to enable me to get down to the basement as well as up to the mezzanine and penthouse levels ?

Perhaps a lift [elevator] would be better wagrro .. saves on all that walking especially if you're after the type found at Hogwarts

kohai, my van is the deluxe model and comes standard with a built in lift, the sofa starcase would only be a temporary measure while access to the lift is restored. it was recently invaded by a warty hog. i would also be interested in a wildlife dart gun if reasonably priced and in good condition. could you be a bit more area specific than "international"
